General Appearance: Sunil has a somewhat broad frame and is pretty muscular. His skin is a bronzed shade, and his hair is a milk chocolate brown. His eyes are a very light shade of brown. His jaw is somewhat squared, with bit of a cleft to his chin, and he has a long and slightly broad nose. He has high cheekbones, and when he smiles he has dimples that stand out on either corner of his mouth.

Psychological Profile
Basic Personality: Sunil is just your average guy really. He doesn't have any really wierd personality quirks...in fact...some folks could consider him to be pretty boring. He tends to blend into the background in group situations and is quite happy not to be noticed more often than not. He isn't very talkative, so he isn't given to gab and gossip much.
Faults:
Shy - Sunil is a pretty shy guy, generally keeping quiet in a crowd of folks he doesn't know all that well. This shyness becomes horrible awkwardness in the presence of a stranger of the opposite sex. Once he gets to know someone, he can still be pretty quiet most times, but he's a bit more talkative than normal.
Judgemental - Sunil is pretty quick to form opinions, without a lot of information to back up his opinions. This could certainly lead to some misunderstandings when coming into contact with other species and their respective cultures...
Intellect - ...or rather a lack thereof. Sunil isn't a complete moron, but he doesn't seem to catch on to non-physical things as quickly as others. For him to understand something from a textbook, he has to study and study quite a bit...and even then, sometimes he just may not get it period. He barely managed to make it into Starfleet with his low test scores, but he busted his butt to get in.
Strengths:
Calm - It takes a lot to get Sunil upset enough to lose his composure. When others around him are falling apart, he's able to keep his calm and react as needed to the crisis.
Controlled - Sunil is very good at keeping his temper in check. Don't mistake this for him never EVER losing his temper...no human is that perfect afterall. Generally he can keep his temper in check, until he gets to his cabin..and then his poor battered and bruised speed bag gets a good beating later on.
Combatives - Sunil does well in security, thanks in part to the fact that he's a great shot with a phaser...but mostly because he's a beast at combatives. Having been trained in Krav Maga (a type of martial arts), he excels at hand to hand encounters. He's able to disable most opponents he goes up against, and he's built up a reputation at his former duty station for breaking up a bar fight started by some overly liquored up Klingons, and surviving said encounter with all limbs intact.
History: Sunil was born in Tel Aviv to a teenaged girl named Kuni. Sunil's father never had any involvement (well, with exception to concieving him of course), and therefore he has no idea who he is. The mother and child lived with Kuni's parents, and while things were tense at first given her parents disapproval of the pregnancy to begin with, eventually things smoothed out. As Sunil grew, it became apparent that he just wasn't as bright as his peers. He had a harder time learning basic reading, writing and mathematics. He was teased and picked on, often pushed around by bullies. Try as he might though, he never was able to rise to the top of the class, barely passing his classes period. Sunil's grandfather was tired of seeing his grandson get picked on, so he opted to teach the boy how to defend himself. The older man was a Krav Maga practicitioner, as had members of the Kalidas family been since the twentieth century. It turned out that while the boy had a hard time with academics...he was a quick study with things he could do hands on, and this included Krav Maga. As he grew better at the martial art over the years, the more confident he became. Not only that, but it had helped put some muscle on him as well.
By the time he graduated from school, he was by far the most physically built male in his graduating class. For the next several years, he gave private instructions in Tel Aviv. Turns out though...that most folks just weren't interested in learning. Eventually he stopped providing instruction. He went through a period where he wasn't entirely sure what to do with his life. A chance encounter with a few Starfleet officers proved to give him some direction. There had been some sort of scuffle at the cafe that the officers and Sunil were eating at. It didn't take long for Sunil to stop the fight and throw the troublemakers that started it out the door. The officers commented that a man with his hand to hand skills would do well as in Starfleet security.
So...at the age of 23, Sunil enlisted. It was awkward at first, considering most of those that enlisted with Starfleet were younger, often fresh out of high school. Still, Sunil persevered and a year later he was stationed in the Alpha Quadrant at one of Starfleet's space stations. There he remained, as a petty officer working security on the station...that is until recently, when he received orders that he was to join the crew of the SS. Endeavor. Having never served on an actual starship, Sunil is feeling just a bit nervous about the whole thing...
