General Appearance: A slender man with neatly kept red hair with blonde highlights and fair skin. His eyes are blue-green with the left eye permanently dilated due to a fight over a girl in his youth. When asked about the fight his story often changes between fighting over a Romulan girl or a young Klingon woman. His perception is off due to the incident which has caused problems in his career in Starfleet, but his service record has not suffered, in spite of his "disability."

Psychological Profile

Basic Personality: Often mischievous and very creative, Ziegfeld was known in his youth for his outrageous sense of style and interest in alien cultures. He can be somewhat aggressive but has a unique ability to see humor in almost every situation. His main interests are music and cultural studies. He can play the Bajoran Lute as well as a few human instruments.

Faults: Aggressive, vain, and somewhat wild, he has been known to skip out on duties for reasons which are decided on later dates as being too frivolous to be considered a personal leave.

Strengths: Earnest, honest and is a very uplifting individual known for boosting morale in even the most grim of circumstances.

History: Fascinated with various cultures he would often take to dressing in flamboyant alien costumes much to the dismay of his father, a distinguished Starfleet Admiral. Persuaded by his father to follow in his footsteps, Ziegfeld joined Starfleet after his 21st birthday and was soon stationed on Mars where he was trained as a security officer. Life on Mars wasn't as exiting as he had imagined but after roughly five years of service he was finally stationed to a Starship, The SS. Stardust.
During his six year time on The Stardust he moved up to the rank of chief of security and he married a woman named Janine, resulting in the birth of a son, Joseph. The marriage lasted for five years but inevitably ending in divorce and Ziegfeld's request to transfer to the newly commissioned SS. Endeavor. Joseph stayed with his mother onboard the Stardust, even though this displeases Tom, he feels that it is the right decision for his child.
